JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Full Time Firefighter/EMT

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Delaware and Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician
• Valid Health Care Provider Certification – C.P.R. & A.E.D.
• Basic Firefighting, Structural, Haz-Mat, Vehicle Rescue & Pump Operator
• Valid Driver’s License with Delaware Emergency Vehicle Operator Endorsement
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Hours:

Employees will work 4 days on, 4 days off (7a-7p). Wages start at $15 per hour based on experience. Vacation and sick time. 401K with 3% matching available after 6-month probationary period.

Job Responsibilities:

Employee’s primary responsibility is staffing the ambulance and fire apparatus. Employees will be responsible for the cleanliness and readiness of ambulances and apparatus while on duty. Employees will also be responsible for light janitorial duties. Employees will also assist with any function while on duty.

Part Time Ambulance Driver /FF

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Health Care Provider Certification – C.P.R. & A.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License with Delaware Emergency Vehicle Operator Endorsement
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• (optional) Basic Firefighting, Structural, Haz-Mat, Vehicle Rescue & Pump Operator

Hours:

Employees will work 24 or 12 hour shifts as needed – Wages are $13 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

Employee’s primary responsibility is responding to emergency calls. Employees will be responsible for the cleanliness and readiness of ambulances and apparatus while on duty. Employees will also be responsible for light janitorial duties. Employees will also assist with any function while on duty.
