Sunday, 22:16 hrs. Roxana (Station 90), along with Bethany Beach (Station 70) and Ocean City were alerted to a "Water Rescue Priority 1". Upon arrival , Roxana discovered a pontoon boat run aground in a shallow, dead-end cove between Cape Windsor and Keenwick on the Bay. Marine 90 responded to the scene, along with a Sea Tow-Ocean City salvage boat. The salvage boat pulled the pontoon boat off the sand bar and brought it to a dock in Keenwick, where the occupants were checked for any injuries. After determining that there were no injuries and that the boat was water tight, Roxana units departed the scene.
