Structure Fire - Old Mill Bridge Road

At 2033hrs the Roxana, Bethany and Millville Fire Departments along with Medic 105 were dispatched to a reported house on fire. Chief Johnson arrived in 90-8, with a 2 story, single family structure with fire showing. Engine 90-1 arrived and placed a handline in service for fire suppression and laid a supply line. Engine 90-4 arrived and secured the hydrant, and a crew placed a handline in service on the first floor. Crews were evacuated from the structure due to a roof collapse and it was then determined that a interior attack could be resumed at that time. Crews from Roxana, Bethany, Millville, Frankford, and Rehoboth Fire Departments operated for 5 hours on the fire. We would like to thank the Selbyville, Dagsboro, and Millsboro fire departments for standing by during this fire.
