MVC Roxana Rd. at Powell Farm Rd.

Wednesday 07:49 hrs. Roxana (Station 90) and Millville (Station 84) were dispatched to a three vehicle MVC on Roxana Rd. at Powell Farm Rd. involving a head-on collision with entrapment. Upon arrival crews worked to rescue an entrapped occupant from a severely damaged vehicle. Trooper 2 landed on Roxana Rd. and, after the occupant was extricated from the vehicle and loaded into the helicopter, the occupant was flown to a trauma center. Other injured occupants were transported by ground ambulances to local hospitals. Fire units cleared the scene and left fire police to assist DSP and to await tow trucks. Roxana Rd. was shut down for a considerable length of time until the scene was cleared.
