Crews Respond to an AFA at The Pyle Center

Units responded to a reported AFA at The Pyle Center. While responding units were advised the call was due to a pull station which was activated in the daycare area. Command 90-8 arrived on scene with Assistant Chief Hooper to find the building evacuated with nothing evident. Tower 90 and Rescue 90 responded to assist with ventilation. The building had turned on their heaters for the first time of the year causing some light smoke and strong odor to overcome the building. Once ventilation was complete crews cleared and the building was turned over to the administration.
