Accident Roxana Rd.near Church Rd.

Tuesday 10:59 hrs.  Roxana was notified of a MVC on Roxana Road near Church Road.  Upon arrival it was determined to be a one vehicle accident with no injuries.  Driver stated that a dog had run across the road in front of him, causing him to swerve.  Vehicle appeared to have struck a steel pole which was snapped off, followed by four trees before coming to rest an additional 100 yards down the highway.  Extensive damage to the vehicle's right side.  Accident was handled by the Roxana Fire Police until DSP arrived on the scene.
