MVC Lighthouse Rd. at Gray's Lane

Monday 06:49 hrs.  Westbound pickup truck on Lighthouse Rd. left highway onto Station 2 pad and almost struck two bicyclists.  Vehicle continued across grass, struck and broke off mailbox and post, continued straight across Gray's Lane and, eventually, struck at utility pole head-on.  Driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to hospital.  Units on the scene included Rescue 90, 90-1, Ambulance A-90, TC-90 and fire police.
