DRILL WITH HELICOPTERS

Monday 19:00 hrs. Trooper 2 and LifeNet helicopters came to Roxana to demonstrate their equipment and capabilities.. The Delaware State Police troopers gave attending members a detailed look at many of the functions which may be performed by Trooper 2, a state-of-the-art Bell 429 helicopter, including medevac transport, search and rescue, tracking and other functions. Trooper 2 spent about 1 1/4 hours on the ground with us before it was called away to two separate missions. By that time the LifeNet helicopter, a BK-116 was on the ground and members attending the drill were able to tour that helicopter and see its capabilities.
