Structure Fire - 37200 Johnson Road

At 23:06 hours, the Roxana Vol. Fire Co. and Selbville Vol. Fire Co's were alerted to a working structure fire at 37200 Johnson Road. Asst. Chief Chris Magee went on scene at 23:14 hours and reported heavy fire at the rear of the structure, and established Johnson Road Command. Command requested 2 additional companies to the scene. About 10 more minuted into the alarm, fire broke through the roof. At this time, command requested additional companies to the scene, and this continued throughout the incident. The storms created an additional burden, as aerial operations had to cease until the lightning was out of the area. The scene was placed under control at approximately 04:00 hrs. The Roxana Fire Company would like to THANK everyone who assisted on this major event, and in this terrible weather. It is believed that more than 250,000 gallons of water was flowed on this event.
