Michael Magee Receives Valor Award - Bear Trap Dunes

Michael Magee received the Roxana Fire Co. 2011 Joshua M. Freeman Firefighter of the Year Valor Award at the Annual Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. It was with great honor that Fire Chief Andy Johnson nominated Michael for his heroic efforts, in rescueing a motorist that was involved in a motor vehicle crash. If Michael had not reacted to this situation, the accident victim, may have perished. Michael, Congratulations.
