Motor Vehicle Crash - Double Bridges Road

On July 4th at 23:41 hrs, the Roxana Vol. Fire Co., Medic 105, Trooper 2 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Double Bridges Road. Command 90 with Chief Andy Johnson went responding at 23:43. Sussex EOC advised that there was 1 patient, possible priority 4. Chief Johnson went on scene, and advised one patient, priority one, trapped, with heavy extrication needed. Rescue 90 went on scene and put two rescue tools in service. Trooper 2 started to respond, but had to return due to lightning in the air. Command 90 requested Delaware Electric Co-op to respond, priority one, due to one of the two poles that supported 4 large transformers was hit by the vehicle. Command also requested two large arrow boards to respond. Chief Johnson went under control at 00:16 hrs. All units were put in service at 01:02 hrs.
