Chief Andy Johnson was the recipient of the Josh M. Freeman Valor Award. He was presented the award by Tom Haverstat from Carl M. Freeman Communities, Senator Tom Carper, Kevin Wilson, President of the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter's Association, and Steve Morgan, President of the Bethany Beach Fenwick Island Chamber of Commerce.
