We went into the Ambulance Service in 1983. In the first year, we were ran approximately 245 calls, with approximately 20 Ambulance Attendants. Through the years we have grown. We have now put a second Ambulance in service. The training now required to ride in the back of the Ambulance is now an "Emergency Medical Technician", which we now have 13. Our drivers are also a huge part of our EMS Service. We now are running approximately 600-700 calls a year with 2 career EMT's.
